This month I'd like to take a look at the easy, versatile, go-to item in your closet.
'The Dress'
Dress it up, or dress it down, it's the easiest item to reach for, especially on these cold winter mornings where one may prefer just to stay cuddled up under ones blanket.
Transform the look of a dress by adding a cardigan, or slipping on a shoulder warming shrug. Try layering a cozy turtleneck underneath, or a crisp white shirt, changing the look of a sexy bustier sheath into a more sartorial look. Fill the neckline with a signature necklace, chains galore, or classic scarf. Define your waist with a fabulous belt, or update the look with a detachable collar.
Check out the following outfits and see how I've taken one dress and given it new life; pulling together two very wearable looks.

Your blog is great! Ive never seen it, all the looks are awesome!
So tonight im going out for some drinks with friends followed by some dancing in the east village. I want to wear somethin feminine but funky. hmmm i need some ideass??
Why thanks Francesca!
Why not go for a rock 'n roll edgy, yet sexy look.
Try a flippy short black leather skirt, with a fitted short sleeve tee shirt, draped with lots of silver metal chains. Add over the knee black socks and ankle booties, and top it all off with a brown sherling bomber jacket....and wear your hair in a loose chignon bun!
Viola, sexy and sassy and ready for the East Village!
